I’ve always had a love for people, our stories, and the way we connect…

It has fueled my work, and enhanced my art. It has propelled my travels, whether in my backyard or across the globe. Mostly its just gotten me talking to strangers. Which is where some of my favorite stories start.

These days my story lands me in Vermont, a place that has always felt like home. I’m lucky enough to live on a beautiful farm with my wife Emily, and our two mischievous pups, Olive and Griz.

When I’m not taking photos, you can usually find me among my one-too-many houseplants, climbing up a mountain, or planning my next trip.

Looking forward to meeting you soon,

FAQs

What if I am uncomfortable in front of the camera?

This is tends to be a common question and the biggest hesitation when getting a portrait taken! While completely understandable, my sessions are very driven by your comfort level. I have lots of tricks for all ages, but I find the best thing to help everyone feel more comfortable is to take our time getting to know each other and our location. Portrait photography is about capturing you-so it is important that I know who you are and you me!

Do you offer portrait sessions not listed on the website?

As I photographer I am always growing! If you have a specific type of shoot that is not listed, i.e birth, headshots, family event, etc I am open to connecting and seeing if we would be a good fit!

What should I wear?

When capturing portraits, (especially outside) neutral + earth tones photograph beautifully. It is best to avoid heavy patterns, branding or bright colors, as they can be distracting. Most importantly however, what you wear should feel like you! Something that is comfortable and allows you to move freely is always preferred.

What if it rains?

We all know New England weather can be hit… or miss. In knowing this, I try to check the weather a few days before our shoot and check in with you if rain/storms are expected. Cloudy days often make for the most beautiful lighting and are no reason to reschedule!

What if my child or pet isn’t interested?

Through my career in healthcare and childcare, alongside made shoots with littles, I have come to gather some tricks up my sleeve! I’ve often found having something exciting to look forward to after the shoot can be a good motivator if things start to go south. Additionally, snacks, toys, and breaks are always encouraged. My shoots are built around creating a relaxed, and playful environment- some of the time kiddos forget I am even there!
